Our esteemed client is seeking an Engineering Facilities and Planning Manager to join their team at the Port of Great Yarmouth and help them keep the world moving!
YOUR ROLE : In this role you manage the Great Yarmouth asset base and information using the internal SAP EAM system, providing key user support and ensuring adherence to internal compliance and external legislation. Working closely with other departments, you will plan and create robust preventative maintenance plans, ensuring schedules are in line with operational demands and business asset strategy.
You will support the development of the wider team, and ensure the achievement of engineering KPIs. You will ensure the highest standards in Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality are at the forefront of all activities. You will deliver strategic and local minor capital projects to quality, time, and budget, leading the core project team to ensure effective delivery. You will manage permit to work systems and relationships with contractors / third parties via service level reviews.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING : You will have previous experience in an Engineering role, ideally gained in a heavy engineering sector and the ability to manage a small team of skilled engineers. You will have demonstrable experience of planning and delivering effective asset management. With excellent communication skills, you will have experience building and managing relationships with contractors and third parties. You will have previous experience managing and delivering minor capital projects and a commitment to ensuring Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality standards are at the forefront of all activities.
