SEN Teaching Assistant

We are recruiting a SEND teaching assistant role to work in the Rowley Regis area in a 1-form entry “GOOD” OFSTED rated Primary School. This teaching assistant's role is to work on a 1 : 1 basis with a child in KS2 with Autism and challenging behaviour.

Our client is looking for a candidate with experience with Autism and challenging behaviour and any additional qualifications around SEND is desirable.

This role will start in as soon as possible and continue to July 2025 full-time (8 : 30-15 : 30).

Required Skills and Experience for this Teaching Assistant role

• Hold a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification
• Good knowledge and experience of working with SEND
• Experience working in Nurseries or Primary Schools as a Teaching Assistant or LSA
• A DBS on the update service or issued in the last 12 months
• A minimum of 2 excellent references
