Family Solicitor, Shropshire | Excellent firm

About the Role

We are currently looking for a skilled and compassionate Family Solicitor to join an established firm in Shropshire. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong background in family law who is committed to delivering excellent client service and achieving the best outcomes for clients during sensitive and challenging times.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handling a broad range of family law matters, including divorce, separation, financial settlements, and child arrangements
  • Advising clients clearly and empathetically on legal rights, options, and processes
  • Representing clients at court hearings and during negotiations, where necessary
  • Preparing and reviewing legal documentation to a high standard
  • Maintaining accurate case files and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements

Requirements

  • Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with at least 2 years' post-qualification experience in family law
  • Strong advocacy, negotiation, and communication skills
  • A sensitive and professional approach to emotionally charged issues
  • Proven ability to manage a caseload independently and efficiently
  • Commitment to client care and building lasting client relationships
  • Desirable

  • Experience with legal aid family work (though not essential)
  • Membership of Resolution or similar professional organisation
