35,000 - £45,000 depending on skills and experience

Hours and location
This is a full-time role based in Leeds, UK . We offer hybrid working and flexible hours to everyone in the team, but this is not a fully remote opportunity.

Role summary
As a Senior SEO Manager you will be responsible for running and growing key SEO clients within the agency. To do this you will be responsible for building effective SEO strategies for clients, and mentoring SEO Managers and executives within the team. Additionally you will need to ensure that you collaborate with other departments in the agency for wider projects, ensuring SEO is built into everything Engage delivers.
What we are looking for
Experienced Senior SEO manager with at least 4 years of experience.Experience leading SEO strategies for multiple clients, with a track record of positive results.Agency experience is required, as the relevant individual will need to work at a fast pace, across multiple clients with multiple agency teams.Good written and verbal communication, with client facing experience is required.A passion for the evolving SEO landscape, keeping up with the latest updates and changes in the industry.A strong knowledge of SEO tools, including but not limited to Semrush, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, and AWR Cloud.Good technical SEO knowledge, experience supporting website migrations, working closely with developers.Strong knowledge of GA4 , from initial setup, through to reviews and enhancements to existing setups.Strong working knowledge of Google Tag Manager, to support the setup of GA4 , configuring of custom events and additional third party tracking.Experience setting up and configuring multiple data sources to automate reporting dashboards. Experience with Looker Studio is required to support our SEO clients.Key responsibilities
Creation of SEO strategies for existing and new clientsResponsible for creating and implementing SEO roadmaps, across all areas of SEO , working with the wider teams when necessary.Retain existing clients by building strong relationships and delivering strong results.Responsible for setting up custom reporting to deliver more insight around existing performance.Build out in-depth reporting dashboards working with other teams to deliver a joined up approach to those clients where we deliver multiple services.Deliver monthly reports and showcase the ROI we are delivering.Support website migrations, delivering SEO insight and enhancements throughout the build process.Responsible for line managing at least one team member, delivering 1 to 1’s and setting individual objectives.Support new business with responses, being present in pitches when necessary to fulfil the SEO approach.
