About the Role
Assisting the Director of Culinary Operations with effectively leading the kitchen team in delivering all areas of service, ensuring the efficient running of all kitchens. This position will directly oversee and lead the bar, the associate’s restaurant, and the events kitchen operations. Including banquets, the pavilion, the deli, and the patisserie afternoon tea. The Executive Sous chef will ensuring the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and service, while supporting the development and success of a team of culinary professionals. Work closely with other departments contributing to the overall hotel success
Key Responsibilities
About you
Preferably you will have had expose of experience of being part of a pre-opening team as Executive Sous Chef or Chef de Cuisine / Head Chef
Demonstrate Rosewoods core values and truly be able to share and express your passion for your industry.
Demonstrate a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion through continuous development, modelling inclusive behaviours.
Proven experience of designing menus for large scale banquets, reflecting the highest restaurant standard.
Solving problems in an efficient and respectful manner is an integral part of who you are.
