Job Description

Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will play an integral part in our leadership team as well as lead our Engineering team at Hyde Bodrum. You will be :

Providing a high level of property maintenance knowledge.
Responsible for maintaining the building, grounds, and physical plant with particular attention towards safety, security, and asset protection.
Leading a team of Engineering professionals, with the assistance of an Engineering Manager.
Accountable for managing the budget, capital expenditure projects, preventive maintenance, energy conservation, and sustainability initiatives.
Maintaining standards and regulatory requirements.
Managing contractors.
Ensuring the hotel upholds WH&S and fire safety responsibilities.
Leading the emergency response for all facility issues.
Auditing and reporting as required.
Managing project work ensuring timelines are met.

Qualifications

University degree in Engineering.

Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior engineering operations position or 3+ years of experience in a similar capacity.

Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within the hotel industry.

Working knowledge of engineering and construction records management principles and procedures, as well as detailed experience with capital and operating budgeting procedures.

Strong computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office package.

Ability to work well under pressure and adapt as necessary, while taking initiative.

Highly organized and process-oriented, while displaying and ensuring accountability of self and team members.
