PROCUREMENT – INDIRECT CATEGORY MANAGER – LEADING FMCG COMPANY – SHROPSHIRE - £75,000 + CAR ALLOWANCE + EXCELLENT BENEFITS PACKAGE (UP TO 30% BONUS)

One of the nation’s leading FMCG firms is investing heavily in its Strategic Procurement Hub , and due to an influx of major £ Multi-Million projects they are in need of a Indirect Procurement Category Manager to join their award winning team. As well as a challenging project oriented environment, the Indirect Category Manager will enjoy bringing strategic leadership to this immature, growing category.

As Indirect Category Manager you will : -

• Create and implement category strategies for key spend areas aligned with the Business Units and Group Service functions
• Develop senior stakeholder relationships, expanding procurement’s involvement and control of non-traditional spend areas
• Use your deep knowledge of sourcing and / or category management processes to drive transformational change and improvement
• Present key insight / updates to the key stakeholders covering data analysis & market insight in order to ensure effective planning and decision making
• Implement a supplier relationship strategy to achieve the agreed KPIs and to develop sustainable added value potential
