Bench JoinerOutskirts of York, £30 - £35k DOE, permanent, 40 hrs per week, flexible hoursSkilled Bench Joiner is required for a bespoke furniture manufacturer on the outskirts of York. Working with a variety of woods, including soft and hard woods, you will be responsible for producing high quality, bespoke products in a workshop environment. The successful applicant will have significant wood working experience, strong attention to detail, take pride in their work and have a desire to create bespoke furniture to a high standard.The role : Producing bespoke one-off and small batch products to customer requirementsWorking with hard and soft woodsReading and working to manufacturing drawings unsupervisedWorking to high quality standardsUsing a range of hand tools and operating machinery and sawsWorking to production targetsWorking in line with health and safety standards The Person will : Have confident bench joinery experience in a quality driven environmentBe able to read and work to drawingsWork as an enthusiastic and flexible member of the teamBe organised and methodical, paying attention to detailBe reliable with a good record of attendance and timekeepingBe professional, hard-working and conscientious with a positive attitudeHave a proven background in producing high quality components Benefits : A salary of up to £35k DOE40hrs per week, Monday - Friday20 days holiday plus 8...
