Werequire an experienced and enthusiastic administrator to join our team. Thepost is contracted for hours a week covering office hours , Monday toFriday 9am to 5pm, though there is flexibility with start and finish times anddays worked.
Theteam is responsible for overseeing quality and governance for the Trust. Youwill support work for Patient Safety and Clinical Effectiveness teams.Excellent IT and administration skills are required to input and extract datafrom Trust wide systems and local databases. A creative approach to presentinginformation is also beneficial as a vital part of our role as a Quality &Safety Team is ensuring that learning from incidents and good practice can beshared across all teams. It is a busy and varied role, so we are seeking anenthusiastic, hard-working team player who can ensure excellent communicationand organisational skills, sustain quality in their document production, managetheir own workload on a day-to-day basis, and prioritise work to meet deadlines.The ability to maintain a calm, positive and flexible approach to your work isessential.
Thepost holder will predominantly work from home although the team work from KingsCourt 2 one day a week and there will be occasions when the post holder will berequired to work from multiple Trust sites.
Main duties of the job
As akey part of our team you will be responsible for the administration of ourQuality and Governance processes. Tracking, monitoring and liaising with keypeople to ensure that processes run smoothly and deadlines are met. In order todo this, you will need to be an excellent communicator and networker, gettingto know the clinical teams across the Trust to support them to input and bepart of quality and governance systems and processes.
Our work includes,managing investigations into serious incidents, reviewing incidents, andrequesting further reports if needed, championing quality improvements andsupporting teams to make positive changes, monitoring and tracking processessuch as audits and reviews.
