Red Snapper Recruitment are recruiting for a Children and Young People’s (CYP) Trauma Informed Support Worker based in the Stockport location with travel across various locations.The successful candidate will deliver our specialist children and young people’s project in the community to a group of children who are at risk of or who have / are living with domestic abuse and suffering the traumatic effects of such. The post holder will provide one-to-one support to children in the local community and deliver specialist domestic abuse workshops and programmes in school and community settings.This is a full time, 37 hours per week, fixed-term until 31st March 2025 with the possibility of extension offering a salary of £23,541 per annum, rising to £24,482 upon successful completion of a 6-month probationary period.Full driving license and access to own vehicle is required for this position.Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Organise and facilitate one-to-one sessions for children and young people who have or are living in a domestic abuse household.
• Organise and facilitate programmes in school and community settings.
• Deliver training to teachers and professionals around the impact of domestic abuse on young people, how to deal with disclosures and how to offer trauma informed support.
