A leading property management group is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Assistant to join their finance team. This established organisation manages an impressive portfolio of commercial properties and shopping centres across the UK, providing a dynamic environment where your finance skills will be put to excellent use.

Key responsibilities
Process and code high volumes of purchase invoices accurately and efficientlyMatch, batch and reconcile purchase orders, delivery notes and invoicesEnsure all supplier invoices are authorised according to company policyMaintain accurate supplier records and handle queries professionallyPrepare and process weekly payment runs via BACS, CHAPS or chequeReconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepanciesSupport month-end processes and financial reportingLiaise with internal teams to resolve invoice or payment-related issuesRequirements
Minimum 2 years' experience in an accounts payable or finance assistant roleExperience in real estate / shopping centre finance preferredGood understanding of UK VAT and expense policiesProficiency with accounting software (Sage, Xero, Re-Leased)Strong Microsoft Excel skillsExcellent attention to detail and high level of accuracyWell-organised with ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlinesEffective communication skills, both verbal and writtenRewards and benefits
