Engineer (Design - Mechanical Building Services) - SYS-2639

A permanent position has arisen within the Regeneration and Community Services Division for an experienced and enthusiastic individual to join the Team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing the department’s expertise in design for delivering major architectural capital and refurbishment projects within the Authority and other joint working Partners, in the field of mechanical building services.

The role will involve liaising and communicating closely with the design team, construction team and external clients to ensure projects are effectively delivered in restricted timescales and budgets. It will involve providing full designs for mechanical building services required for delivering construction projects.

From time to time the successful candidate will also assist in managing statutory testing for the property portfolio to ensure all necessary tests are undertaken at the required intervals.

Access to a vehicle for work purposes is a requirement.
