Group Accountant

NXTGEN are delighted to be partnering with a fast-growing, multi-entity organisation to recruit a Group Accountant into their on-site finance team. This is a truly unique opportunity for a Group Accountant to step into a broad, high-impact role spanning a diverse group structure made up of multiple trading entities and associated businesses. As Group Accountant, you'll take ownership of consolidated reporting, cashflow forecasting, and providing insightful analysis to support decision-making at group level. This is a highly involved, business-critical role offering exposure across a wide-ranging portfolio, making it ideal for someone looking to move beyond the ordinary. You will not only get exposure to working directly with the CEO and Chairman but also other key stakeholders in the wider group function Key responsibilities will include : Preparing monthly management accounts for both group and single entities, including full P&L, balance sheet, KPIs, and detailed commentary and analysis for leadershipConsolidating financial reporting across the groupProducing group cashflow forecasts and board packsSupporting VAT returns, month-end processing, and fixed asset managementLiaising with the wider team on AP / AR and expensesOverseeing accounts for smaller subsidiaries, related companies, and charitiesPreparing reports on investmentsWhat we're looking for : Fully qualified accountant (CIMA / ACCA / ACA) or QBEStrong Excel skills with experience across multi-entity environmentsA hands-on, flexible approach and the ability to manage multiple prioritiesConfident communicator with the ability to present clear financial insightThis is a fully on-site role, with flexibility supported where needed.
