Humanities Teacher Needed – September 2024 Start

Prospero Teaching is seeking to recruit a well-qualified and dedicated Geography Teacher, to start in September.

The ideal candidate :

  • Has a proven History to secure excellent pupil results in Geography GCSE exams
  • Can inspire and lead high quality teaching, learning and assessment
  • Is dynamic and an ambitious practitioner, who can build on the success of the subject and ensure good progress for all pupils
  • Has experience of effective teaching and supporting pupils with a range of SEN, behavioural and academic needs.

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • QTS, QTLS, PGCE, EYFS or equivalent (to be offered supply teaching work)
  • Previous experience working in a UK school would be ideal
  • Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential)
  • TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST :

  • Be willing to register with Prospero Teaching and complete all required vetting checks
  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional child related references

    Location – Ealing, West London

    Position – Geography Teacher

    Contract or position start date – September 2024

    Duration / Likely Duration – Ongoing

    Contract type (temp / perm / temp to perm) – perm

    Full time / part time – Full time

    Hours – 8 : 30 am – 4pm, plus parents’ evenings

    EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

    QTS or equivalent

    Minimum 1 year teaching experience in the UK (Desirable)

    Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year
