Senior Civil Design Engineer

A leading regional civil engineering and utilities services company is seeking a Senior Civil Design Engineer to lead design delivery on a key water infrastructure framework in Yorkshire. You will oversee a range of projects from early concept through to construction support, working within a collaborative and forward-thinking design team.

Key Responsibilities :

Lead and coordinate civil and drainage designs to UK water industry standards

Manage internal teams and external consultants

Ensure quality assurance, client satisfaction, and adherence to health & safety standards

Mentor junior team members and contribute to technical excellence

Requirements :

Degree-qualified Civil Engineer (chartered or working towards chartership preferred)

Strong experience in drainage design and infrastructure projects within the UK water sector

Proficient in design software (e.g., MicroDrainage, AutoCAD, Civils3D)

Full UK driving licence required
