Customer Claims Advisor - Newcastle
Location : Longbenton, Newcastle
Salary : £24,000 - £26,000
Start Date : 26th March 2025
Shifts : Monday to Sunday, 8 AM - 8 PM, working on an 8-week rotational shift pattern
We are looking for an experienced Customer Claims Advisor to join our team in Newcastle. This is a crucial role where you will be the first point of contact for customers making insurance claims - often during stressful situations, including cases of loss of life. Your ability to show empathy, build rapport, and handle sensitive conversations will be essential.
What We're Looking For :
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a contact centre, financial services, or supervisory role in retail / hospitality
- Strong customer service background with the ability to handle complex conversations
- Ability to stay calm under pressure and manage challenging situations with professionalism
- Flexibility to work within an 8-week rotational shift pattern, covering Monday to Sunday, 8 AM - 8 PM

Act as the first point of contact for customers making insurance claimsGather all necessary information to begin the claim processProvide support and reassurance to customers during difficult timesEnsure supplementary services (e.g., car hire) are arranged where neededThis is a specialist role requiring life experience, emotional intelligence, and a customer-focused approach.
