Customer Claims Advisor - Newcastle

Location : Longbenton, Newcastle

Salary : £24,000 - £26,000

Start Date : 26th March 2025

Shifts : Monday to Sunday, 8 AM - 8 PM, working on an 8-week rotational shift pattern

We are looking for an experienced Customer Claims Advisor to join our team in Newcastle. This is a crucial role where you will be the first point of contact for customers making insurance claims - often during stressful situations, including cases of loss of life. Your ability to show empathy, build rapport, and handle sensitive conversations will be essential.

What We're Looking For :

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a contact centre, financial services, or supervisory role in retail / hospitality
  • Strong customer service background with the ability to handle complex conversations
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure and manage challenging situations with professionalism
  • Flexibility to work within an 8-week rotational shift pattern, covering Monday to Sunday, 8 AM - 8 PM

  • What You'll Do :

  • Act as the first point of contact for customers making insurance claims
  • Gather all necessary information to begin the claim process
  • Provide support and reassurance to customers during difficult times
