Marketing Assistant

22,000 to £25,000pa DOE

Hybrid / Kings Hill, Kent

Commercial Services Group are looking for a Marketing Assistant to join its Community Services division. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to ‘learn as you do’, with hands-on training and development across a range of digital and traditional marketing activities, including digital campaigns, social media, web management, PR, photography and events.

You will be working alongside the Brand Manager to create, implement and develop effective marketing campaigns for our main operational services – which include grounds maintenance and waste management - with the objective of increasing sales, brand awareness and improving customer experience.

Content creation, tracking, analysis reporting, and social media management are just some of the activities you will be involved with, as well as building key relationships within the business, the Group, the industry and with suppliers. With this role every day is different!

As this position will be a hybrid of home, office and on-site working, we require the successful candidate to have a Full UK Driving License.

Key duties -

  • Assist with monthly reporting, tracking of marketing activities and sharing feedback on progress
  • Create attractive, high-quality and compelling email and social media campaigns
  • Stay up to date with industry and local news, using our digital platforms to share with our customers and staff
  • Produce, analyse and report on key data stats for our marketing to help drive future campaigns
  • Acknowledge and respond to customer communications through our social media platforms
  • Assist with trade or brand events and contribute to idea development
  • Work alongside the Brand Manager to delivery dynamic marketing campaigns for chosen channels, scheduling and delivering campaign plans to feed into the master marketing plan

    • What we need from you -

  • A very good understanding of social media platforms and the power of analytics
  • The ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships both internally and externally
  • Skilled at being highly organised with multiple tasks requiring completion, ensuring deadlines are met
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office programmes including PowerPoint, Excel and Word
  • Strong written ability for copywriting and email correspondence
