Job descriptionMust hold a UK Class 1 CE Licence. Be passionate about providing excellent customer service. Working to deadlines. Confident, polite and a team player. Hold a current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card. Good geographical knowledge. Due to the nature of the role applicants must be fit, flexible, hardworking and self-motivated. Salary between £38,.60pa and £43,.60pa,and MORE! Depending on hours worked, PLUS up to £5,pa TAX FREE night out allowance. Days of work : 5 days out of 7 per week. Enhanced overtime at weekends. The position involves :
- Planning route on a day to day basis.
- Delivering various loads, using fridges and curtain sided trailers throughout the UK, this will include nights away – night out allowance will be paid.
- Keeping in regular contact with the transport team for updates on progress and managing our customers’ expectations.
- Managing your working time and driver hours when away from home to comply with legislation.
- Attending regular training sessions.
