Job summary

The award winning Ophthalmology Outpatient department HRI is offering an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual to join our expanding Imaging team.

This interesting and challenging role involves performing visual acuity and diagnostic ophthalmic imaging on patients presenting with a variety of eye conditions.

Previous healthcare and / or imaging experience would be an advantage but not essential as full induction and training will be provided.

Person Specification

Education / Qualifications

Essential

  • Educated to at least GCSE level
  • Willingness to develop and acquire new skills

Desirable

  • NVQ level 2 in health care
  • Knowledge, Training & Experien

    Essential

  • Customer care experience.
  • Ability to communication well within a multidisciplinary team
  • Candidate will be expected to maintain knowledge by attending courses / training as required.
  • Keyboard skills
  • Desirable

  • Experience in Healthcare or Ophthalmic setting.
