Quality Inspector -Overview :
Our client who arebased in Coventry are looking for a Quality Inspector to join theirteam. They specialise in precision engineering, providinghigh-quality CNC machining and manufacturing solutions foraerospace, automotive, F1 and industrial sectors. Known for theirinnovation and expertise, they deliver reliable, bespoke componentsto meet demanding industry standards.
Quality Inspector –Responsibilities :
- Conductinspections of machined components using precision measuring tools(e.g., micrometers, calipers, CMMs, shadow graphs, andverniers).
- Interpret and analyze engineeringdrawings and specifications to ensure dimensional accuracy andcompliance.
- Perform first-off, in-process, andfinal inspections, documenting results and maintaining accuraterecords.
- Identify and report anynon-conformances or quality issues, supporting root cause analysisand corrective actions.
- Work closely with theproduction team to ensure adherence to quality standards throughoutthe manufacturing process.
- Calibrate andmaintain inspection equipment to ensure reliability andaccuracy.
- Assist in audits and compliancechecks to maintain certifications (e.g., ISO 9001,AS9100).
- Contribute to continuous improvementinitiatives aimed at enhancing quality andefficiency.
Quality Inspector –Requirements :
Provenexperience as a Quality Inspector in a precision engineeringenvironment.Strong understanding ofengineering drawings, GD&T, andtolerances.Proficient in using manual andautomated measuring equipment.Familiarity withquality standards such as ISO 9001, AS9100, orequivalent.Excellent attention to detail withthe ability to work under pressure and meetdeadlines.Effective communication andcollaboration skills.Competency in usingcomputer systems for documentation and reporting (e.g., MS Office,quality managementsoftware).Quality Inspector – Salary &Benefits :
