This is a full-time, permanent position with Monday to Friday working hours from 08 : 00 to 14 : 00. As the Sous Chef, you will assist in managing kitchen operations, ensuring high-quality meals are prepared for students and staff, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.Key Responsibilities : Assisting the Head Chef in meal preparation, cooking, and menu planningEnsuring food is prepared and served in compliance with health and safety regulationsManaging kitchen inventory and ordering suppliesLeading and mentoring junior kitchen staff and kitchen assistantsEnsuring the kitchen remains clean, safe, and well-organisedAdhering to portion control and food costingAd hoc kitchen duties as required to support the teamKey Requirements : Enhanced DBS check with Child Workforce (dated within the last 4 years)A minimum of 1 year’s experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar kitchen management roleStrong knowledge of food safety and hygiene practicesExcellent communication, leadership, and team-working skillsAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced environment...
