About the role

Morrison Water Services is currently looking to recruit a Senior Estimator.

As a Senior Estimator you will be part of an estimating team reporting to one of our Managing Estimators on the Framework to which you are assigned. You will be responsible for delivering accurate and timely estimates across a mix of one-off projects, packages of work for both Infrastructure Clean and Waste Water.

The location of the role could either be home based, office based or a combination of both dependant on the work needs and home location.

As a Senior Estimator   your duties and responsibilities will be :

• To provide estimating support with bids and contracts to ensure robust pricing, risk management and governance
• To assist and advise the Senior Management Team on commercial influences and risks around any bids
• Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to produce accurate and timely estimates / cost data
• To ensure where possible supplier / subcontractor terms are back to back with the client requirements and if not to impact assess any deviations
• Responsible for prioritising workload and supporting the team to produce results in a timely manner to meet business needs
• Day to day liaison with, and influencing of, key stakeholders, such as customers and operational colleagues
• To develop and implement changes to process, following understanding of a need to make changes to improve performance

Qualifications

Preferably degree qualified in engineering, Quantity Surveying, cost & planning or similar
