Planner / Senior Planner / Associate Director

This is an exciting opportunity to join a diverse and friendly team and advise on some of the most significant development projects in the north of England across a range of sectors including city centre regeneration (Manchester / Leeds / Liverpool), strategic residential and net-zero infrastructure.

Location : Manchester

We are looking for highly motivated, passionate and talented individuals at Planner, Senior Planner and / or Associate Director level who can match our ambition, bring the necessary experience and enjoy collaborating within a vibrant team environment.

About the roles

Turley is a progressive consultancy and we are investing in our market-leading Northern Planning Team in response to a growing portfolio of significant instructions and pipeline of future projects. We are looking for candidates with consultancy experience.

  • Support on a range of significant projects.
  • Have an opportunity to take the lead on smaller scale projects.
  • Develop your technical skills and grow your presence within the market.
  • Have defined responsibilities and client contact.
  • Have an opportunity to work on projects across all development sectors.
  • Be passionate about your personal development and profile within the market.
  • Have an elevated level of oversight in significant projects.
  • Take the lead on a portfolio of smaller projects with specific responsibility for coaching and developing Assistant Planners / Planners.
  • Have an established network of contacts / clients and be able to make an effective contribution to business development.

At Associate Director level you will :

  • Be part of the leadership of the Northern Planning Team.
  • Have a proven track record of leading on significant projects.
  • Provide strategic oversight on a portfolio of smaller projects.
  • Be committed to delivering and advocating the highest levels of client service.
  • Have an established network of contacts / clients and a demonstrable track record in identifying new opportunities and winning new work.
  • Have line management responsibilities and take pride in ensuring the growth, development and wellbeing of co-owners.
  • At all levels we are seeking candidates who will bring energy, creativity and positivity, can demonstrate drive and curiosity.
