Based near Stowmarket, this position plays a key role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of supplier invoices and payments during a busy period.Key Responsibilities :
- Process purchase invoices accurately and efficiently
- Match, batch, and code invoices to the correct cost centres
- Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies
- Prepare payment runs and ensure payments are made in line with company policy
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date supplier records
- Liaise with internal departments and external suppliers to resolve queries
- Assist with month-end procedures related to the purchase ledger
- General finance admin support as requiredRequirements :
- Previous experience in a similar accounts or finance role, with a focus on purchase ledger
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a small team
- Reliable and available to start at short notice
