Job descriptionMust have a UK Class 1 (CE) Driving Licence. Hold a current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card. Experience of delivering loads directly to client sites is advantageous. Be passionate about providing excellent customer service. Working to deadlines. Confident, polite and a team player. Good geographical knowledge. Due to the nature of the role applicants must be fit, flexible, hardworking and self-motivated. Rate for Class 1 Driver is £20.94 per hour, working Saturdays and Sundays. Start time 04 : 00hrs. Overtime available Monday – Friday. The position of Class 1 Driver involves :
- Delivering to retail stores on curtain side and box trailers on single and double deck trailers.
- Keeping in regular contact with the transport team for updates on progress and managing our customers’ expectations.
- Attending regular training sessions.
