Job Title : Software Engineer

Location : Samlesbury or Filton. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.

Salary : £47,683 – £52,426 depending on experience

What you’ll be doing :

• Designing & developing technical solutions
• Re-working existing Java solutions for operation in a cloud native environment
• Adherence to project processes and software development practices
• Supporting system test and integration activities
• Producing / updating technical documentation
• Planning, scheduling, and reviewing work of the team (as part of agile team)
• Liaising with multiple stakeholders and reporting on progress
• Assisting debugging, fault tracing and analysis for sustainment activities
• Supporting product deployment and configuration

The SCM team :

The F-35 Maintenance System (MxS) SCM Team operate Agile (DevSecOps) working practices and you will be working as a full-time member of the Scrum product team. The SCM team is centred at Samlesbury, with members also in Filton. The team operate a hybrid working system, working collaboratively in the office when needed.
