To maximise productivity of the manufacturing team by providing leadership and motivation. Delivering high standards in every aspect of the manufacturing process, while ensuring compliance with company procedures.Manufacturing Supervisor  £32,000 - £38, 000 + Company Pension / Events / Parking  Telford  Ref : 24215Manufacturing Supervisor  - The Role : Daily hands-on management and motivation for a team of fitters engaged in the manufacture of investment castings systems and equipmentTo take ownership of given projects / tasks and see them through to completion; including on-site installation and supervision at customers premisesPlan work for various projects daily and provide guidance and directionin order to fulfil the weekly scheduleReport to the Manufacturing Manager on project progress on a daily and weekly basisAdopt a culture of continuous improvement – challenging and improving systems on a month-by-month, project-by-project basisBe responsible for Health and Safety in the team including use of PPE and ensure adherence to company Risk AssessmentsInvolvement in personnel management including : mentoring, performance measurement and the disciplinary processOperate within company proceduresManufacturing Supervisor  - The Person : To have at least three years’ experience in a supervisory, or responsible role, preferably within an automation or equipment manufacturing environmentDemonstrated experience in a hands-on mechanical / electrical fitting roleHands on experience of delivering projects to time scales and problem solving in a fast-moving environmentTechnically qualified to HNC in a mechanical / Electrical discipline or equivalentMotivational leadership to encourage and achieve the best from the team withindefined schedulesStrong communication skillsSelf-driven for progressive and continued learning and developmentKeen to accept responsibility and accountabilityAbility and desire to travel worldwideLocated in Telford, this role would be commutable from Shrewsbury, Cannock, Stafford, NewportFor further information call Taylor ButterfieldAE1
