Senior Electrical Engineer

Belcan Workforce Solutions is excited to offer a contract opportunity for a Senior Electrical Engineer at the Fife site of a multinational oil and gas corporation. This position is for a 12-month contract, offering full-time on-site work within an IR35 framework.Tasks & Responsibilities for the Senior Electrical EngineerFacilitate and coordinate discipline engineering technical work productsCoordination and communication of various issues among the company's and contractor's engineering team that affect the discipline engineering design, safety, and regulatory compliance of the workEvaluate / comment work performed by the Contractor and sub-contractors to ensure that the work is being executed in accordance with Company specifications, standards, and regulatory requirements. Includes review of discipline design drawings and documentsIdentify and assess deviations to Contract Technical Specifications and regulatory requirements; ensure that such deviations will be processed according to Company procedures; maintains Deviation Control Log.Steward discipline engineering queries from the Contractor and sub-contractors as well as technical information requestsKeep Lead Engineer informed of discipline engineering progress, deviations, and execution concernsParticipate in discipline engineering reviews at Contractor's and subcontractor's locationsDrives and promotes capital efficiency in engineering designSupport internal engineering general interest or Global Practice initiatives as requested by Supervisor Applies mathematical and engineering principles and methods to electrical system designs. Skills & Qualifications for the Senior Electrical EngineerBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related engineering specialty, or equivalent professional experienceExtensive knowledge of discipline design standards, specifications, codes, and appropriate safety criteriaProficient in data collection and analysis with common database and software data analysis tools such as SAP, Analytics for Excel and TableauAbility to adapt to tight deadlines, heavy workloads, and frequent changes in prioritiesProficient in Microsoft Office suite of software programsRead, write, and speak fluent English, especially as it applies to technical and business communications Desirable Skills & QualificationsBS7671 18th Edition qualifiedCompEx Ex12 qualified This vacancy is being advertised by Belcan
