Financial Services experience is crucial for this role, with a preference for candidates with a background in Insurance / Life & Pensions. The role demands a Product Owner with lifecycle experience across Design and Build, coupled with Digital Servicing and Operations experience. Key Responsibilities : Lead Delivery Teams : Act as the primary Product Owner / Manager for our delivery teams, providing vision, direction, and requirements to Agile development teams and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. Lifecycle Management : Demonstrate lifecycle experience across Design and Build, ensuring seamless progression from concept to deployment. Strategic Planning : Plan and prioritize product feature backlog and development for the product. Define the product roadmap, facilitating strategic planning and OKR (Objectives and Key Results) management. Value Assessment : Assess value, develop cases, and prioritize stories, epics, and themes to ensure focus on high-value tasks aligned with product strategy. Backlog and Iteration Planning : Provide effective backlog management, iteration planning, and elaboration of user stories. Industry and Competitor Analysis : Maintain awareness of competitors and industry trends, ensuring our strategy remains ahead of the curve. Agile / Scrum Advocacy : Stay informed of Agile / Scrum best practices and new trends, promoting a culture of continuous improvement. Experience in Financial Services : Must have previous working experience in the Financial Services Consulting sector with a strong preference for candidates with a background in Insurance / Life & Pensions. Digital Servicing and Operations Experience : Demonstrated experience in digital servicing and operations, contributing to the seamless delivery of digital projects. Proven experience of working as a Business Analyst or Product Owner through the whole lifecycle of projects from initiation to benefits realisation, working in an Agile project environment Experience of planning and facilitating workshops and managing discussions with confidence and leadership Strong leadership qualities to bring clarity and guidance to the development team in a fast-moving environment Ability to perform detailed analysis and apply creative problem solving to deliver efficient and effective solutions Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks Demonstrate the ability to elicit and articulate complex user and workflow requirements in a variety of ways to enable shared understanding across the development team Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail Life Insurance
