Job description

Morson Talent are currently recruiting for a Project Engineer to work on behalf of one of our reputable clients based in Yeovil. This is a contract role for 6 months.

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated individual to join our site in Yeovil as a Project Engineer. You will be part of a team assessing and driving achievement of program-specific performance within the client. You will be working on complex aerospace engineering projects across a variety of remits including Environmental Control Systems (ECS), Hydraulics, and Life Support Systems (LSS).

LOOKING FOR AN ENGINEER TO COVER THE BELOW :

  • Receive request from Customer / OEM / Program
  • Requirement collation and proposal template preparation
  • Requirement sharing with TechPubs Supplier (Hemel or Sonovision)
  • Review of quote received from supplier
  • Estimations in AET (Estimation Tool)
  • Release PO to Supplier
  • Coordination with Supplier (Hemel or Sonovision)
  • Review and approval documents (only applicable docs)
  • Submission to OEM

KNOWLEDGE / EXPERIENCE

  • HND / HNC / Degree in mechanical engineering / aerospace
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
  • Previous experience of working within a project engineering environment, and an understanding of the engineering lifecycle of a product from conception to commissioning

    • MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS : Full BPSS Screening (

  • Baseline Personnel Security Standard), including proof of Legal Right to Work, Criminal Records Check, i.e. UK DBS and Drugs Screening.

    • 8-5 Monday to Friday
