Location : Near Bury St Edmunds

Salary : £37,000 + 28 Days Holiday + Pension + Training Opportunities

Hours : Monday to Friday, 8 : 00 AM – 4 : 30 PM (No Shift Work)

Are you a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer with a mechanical bias looking for a stable, on-site role with excellent benefits and long-term career development? We seek a skilled and proactive engineer to join our team at a distribution centre near Bury St Edmunds.

The Role : As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of our site by carrying out repairs, servicing, and general maintenance. Your day-to-day duties will include :

Maintenance and repair of loading bays and tail lifters

General building maintenance across the facility

Operating a forklift truck (license preferred but training can be provided)

Welding tasks (desirable but not essential)

Training provided on refrigeration systems for future career progression

What We're Looking For : NVQ or City & Guilds qualification in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical)

Experience in a factory, warehouse, or distribution environment

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently

Forklift experience (or willingness to be trained)

Welding experience (a bonus but not essential)
