Job description

Challenge-trg are recruiting Class 1 HGV Drivers for our client based in PR7 7NB

We are recruiting to cover AM patterns.

Must have a minimum 2 years Class 1 experience

Start times from 01 : 00-04 : 00

Any shift pattern considered by client

Weekend shifts available - must be able to work 1 shift over the weekend

Job Role

The job will consist of a variety of Store deliveries

Fridge experience is preferred but not essential

PAYE Rolled Up rates between :

19.05-£33

Mon-Sat

00 : 00-0600 £23.25

06 : 00-18 : 00 £19.05

18 : 00-00 : 00 £23.25

Sunday

00 : 00-06 : 00 £23.25

06 : 00-22 : 00 £28.58

22 : 00-00 : 00 £33

PAYE Standard rates between :

17-£29

Mon-Sat

00 : 00-0600 £22

06 : 00-18 : 00 £17

18 : 00-00 : 00 £20.50

Sunday

00 : 00-06 : 00 £22

06 : 00-22 : 00 £25.50

22 : 00-00 : 00 £29

What the HGV driver can expect :

permmanent contract

Weekly Pay

No guaranteed hours, drivers are paid for horus worked, 30 min break deduction

Hourly Pay

24-hour assistance night operation team

The Requirements from the HGV Class 1 Driver

  • A full Class 1 HGV Licence held for Min 2 years required
  • A valid Drivers CPC Card
  • A digital tachograph card
  • A full understanding of WTD legislation
  • Reliable and excellent time keeping
  • Flexible with start times & working days
