Quality Technician

Quality Technician to join a leading FMCG & Cosmetics company based in the Greater Cardiff Area for a salary of up to £28, per annum with a fantastic benefits package. This permanent position as Quality Technician is working closely with key stakeholders on site, so there is no option to work from home. This role will be working a weekly rotating shift pattern of 06 : 00 – 13 : 30 & 13 : 30 – 21 : 30.

This is truly an exciting role as a Quality Technician, following the company system and ensuring that product supplied to customers is of the highest possible standard.

Experience in a Quality Technician role would be ideal when applying to this position, alongside GMP experience. Previous work experience with analysis in relation to component defects and experience working with engineering drawings, Detailed dimension, Colour standards would also be highly beneficial when applying to this role as Quality Technician

Responsibilities of the Quality Technician

• Ensure representative samples are taken
• Undertake all required tests on relevant samples in accordance with the system and specifications;
• Ensure that relevant traceability paperwork is available and correct (Able to follow GMP);
• Take decisions on relevant stock and entering information on the appropriate stock management system;
• Carrying out relevant preparation, titration, calibration and validation on reagents and / or equipment where appropriate;
• Recording of non-conformances and appropriate follow up and communication;
• Maintaining high housekeeping standards and working to Good Laboratory Practices;
• To support the Department and Lab Manager in any other relevant tasks including but not limited to internal audits, training of new staff, preparation of procedures or assisting with investigations.
