MS AISE is a long-standing local specialty insurer, providing knowledge based and efficient service propositions to commercial clients. Our strategy is ‘to provide efficient knowledge-based service propositions to our commercial clients based on a dual distribution model (Bespoke and Streamed line business)’. ABOUT THE JOB
Job purpose
To provide tailored risk pricing, to support and enhance our underwriting capabilities on all open market pricing requests the required deadlines, striving to improve efficiency and accuracy. Bringing clarity, transparency and understanding to the users and clients of catastrophe modelling.
The role is instrumental in meeting all AISE’S open market pricing requests, assistance with management reports and to meet other requests from underwriters while maintaining robust standards and knowledge of best practice in catastrophe modelling.

You can help MS Amlin to achieve this by :
To be a key point of contact for the underwriters with queries relating to the pricing of accounts. Assist with client and broker relationships with the ability to deal with enquiries in an efficient professional manner.
Be proactive in your own development and assist with the development junior staff members where appropriate.
Turn around all pricing requests to meet deadlines in a professional and accurate manner by ensuring appropriate checks are carried out.
To maintain important relationships with data cleansing companies.
Assisting with the production of monthly modelling packs.
Perform audits of priced accounts as required to ensure that pricing data files are maintained to a satisfactory standard through reconciliation with dedicated systems and liaison with underwriting staff.
Be proactive in your own development and assist with the development junior staff members where appropriate.
What we are looking for :
The candidate must have a strong and experienced understanding in all technical aspects of modelling (at least 5 years), and be able to converse with clients and peers in a proficient manner.
People management skills
Teamwork and relationship building skills Good self-management and time management discipline Ability to build effective relationships
5+ Years’ experience in catastrophe modelling Service delivery expertise
Sound business knowledge and commercial awareness for the areas of business supported
Advanced coding experience in one language
