This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Buyer with direct or indirect experience gained in the FMCG sector to join a leading multi-site business in the West Yorkshire area. As a Category Buyer you’ll be responsible for developing the ingredients and indirect services capabilities within the business in line with my clients’ plans for growth.

Working as part of a category buying team this is an integral role in the business looking for someone to help deliver the strategy and closely support the rest of the procurement function. You’ll be responsible for a wide range of functional ingredients and areas of indirect spend and will have full accountability for supplier development, working closely with key internal stakeholders and suppliers.

You will be a talented Buyer with experience of working in the food manufacturing industry or other FMCG / short shelf-life product areas. Previous ingredients experience is essential as is a proven track record of strong negotiation and influencing skills.
