TPF Recruitment, Kent’s leading accountancy practice recruitment agency is working on behalf of a highly regarded, modern chartered accountancy practice based in Sidcup, seeking an Accounts Manager to join their experienced team. This independent, multi-sited firm of chartered accountants offers an excellent opportunity for the right candidate.

As an Accounts Manager, you will collaborate with other managers and oversee a diverse client portfolio, including sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies. You will have the flexibility to manage your portfolio independently while working closely with a skilled team of managers and partners.

Key responsibilities include :

• Managing a varied client portfolio
• Reviewing and preparing statutory accounts
• Creating income and expenditure accounts for clients as needed
• Overseeing bookkeeping and organizing accounting records
• Reviewing, preparing, and submitting VAT returns
• Preparing and submitting personal and corporate tax returns
• Providing outstanding client service by addressing queries and offering support
• Collaborating with senior management, including assisting Partners on projects
• Contributing to the firm’s growth by retaining existing clients and fostering relationships with potential clients.

Requirements

You will be ACA / ACCA or qualified by experience with at least 3 years experience within practice. You will have worked as Semi Senior or Senior accountant within practice Experience of Iris and cloud software such as Xero / Quickbooks would be advantageous
