We are looking for a passionate, energetic and committed Admissions Registrar to oversee the recruitment of pupils from overseas. The role will oversee pupil entry from initial enquiry, introduction, entry testing and interview, through the induction process to arrival, working closely with other key stakeholders to ensure transparency and accuracy across the admissions process. Relationship building is an essential part of the role and significant international travel is likely.
Our Registrars play an integral role in being a positive ambassador for the school with a welcoming and professional disposition, knowledgeable about the school and with a genuine interest in the people they work with, both internally and externally. Applicants must demonstrate their excellent interpersonal and communication skills, their commitment to superior customer service and their ability to meet targets and deadlines. Alongside this, they need to be able to show exceptional ICT skills and be able to both understand and demonstrate their understanding of confidentiality and data protection.
It is essential that the successful person has the ability to build strong, meaningful relationships with our external partners, as well as working with colleagues throughout the School to ensure that the process is transparent and meaningful. Knowledge of world events and an understanding of how they might impact recruitment will aid the post holder to navigate opportunities and challenges, as they maintain existing markets and develop new ones.
The post holder will need to ensure accurate data is kept for regular statistical reports needed by the Heads and Board of Governors. It is essential the successful candidate can prioritise effectively and remain calm and professional during busy periods. Whilst not essential, we welcome applications from those who have previously worked in an admissions role within the Independent Education Sector.
This role is a full time position. The hours of work are Monday to Friday from 8 : 30am to 5 : 00pm, all-year round, with the occasional weekend day to support Open Days and School events. Flexibility is required to allow attendance at events outside of the UK’s timezone and travel overseas.
