Class 1 HGV Driver C+E

Pertemps are currently recruiting several Class 1 Drivers (C+E) looking to work in the day or evenings and Full / Part time drivers who can work midweek and weekends on a regular ongoing basis for our client based in Louth. You will be required carry out trunk runs and deliver goods to distribution centres or carry out trailer swaps in a curtain side vehicle.

What will I be expected to do?

• Safely operate a Class 1 vehicle to transport goods and materials.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
• Secure cargo using straps, chains, and tarps as needed.
• Follow all traffic laws and regulations.
• Communicate with dispatch to receive delivery instructions.
• Complete necessary paperwork and maintain accurate records of deliveries.

What shifts and start times are available?

We have day shifts starting around 0600 and evenings from 1700. We also have weekend shifts available as this is a 24 / 7 operation.

How much will I be paid as an HGV Driver?

Days - £14.00PH

Nights - £16.00ph

Saturday - Night £17.50

Sunday -Night £21.00
