Job description

This job posting from Shorterm Group offers an exciting opportunity for vehicle mechanics to upskill into PSV / Bus technicians through a 1-year earn-and-learn programme.

Programme Details :

  • Duration : 1-year
  • Training : Full-time in the depot with 1-2 hours of online learning per week
  • Pay : Starting at £33,500 per annum, paid weekly, with a significant increase of approximately £10k after completion
  • Hours : Monday to Friday, 38 hours / week, with shifts between 5am and 11pm on a rota basis
  • Overtime : Available

Entry Requirements :

  • Minimum Level 2 qualification in vehicle mechanics or equivalent
  • At least 2 years of post-study / apprenticeship experience in a workshop environment
  • Valid UK driver's license
  • Own tools suitable for a light vehicle technician
  • Suitable laptop / computer and internet connection
