As a Project Manager for Major & Complex Claims, you’ll be the superhero swooping in to restore order, overseeing commercial restoration projects and making sure everything runs smoother than a fresh coat of paint. Your mission : deliver projects on time, within budget, and with customers singing your praises.Duties :
- Attend damage sites across the UK to undertake surveys, create survey reports, and estimates.
- Survey necessary works, prepare reports (both written and video as required), produce project estimates, including planning and arranging labour, material and equipment resources, and health & safety documentation.
- Prepare and organise project sites, including safety and resources.
- Manage projects on-site or handover to a site supervisor to achieve planned margins and outcomes.
- Monitor project progress, taking corrective action as needed.
- Oversee all site health & safety, including construction phase plans and compliance with CDM regulations.
- Regularly liaise with customers regarding project progress.
- Complete all project costing sheets and ensure accurate project administration.
- Collaborate with the admin team to ensure job financials are recorded properly, and site staff are fully utilised.
- Provide technical support to customers and colleagues.
- Pursue sales leads and opportunities to grow the business.
- Respond to customer job-related queries and report any complaints promptly.
- Ensure all systems and IT administration are complete and accurate.
- Undertake special projects as required and support other areas of the business when needed.
- Travel extensively and stay away from home as necessary for project requirements.Skills and Experience Required :
- Strong knowledge in commercial damage project management, health & safety, resource planning, property drying, decontamination, and contents restoration.
- Integrity, leadership, communication, and decision-making abilities.
- Previous experience with project financial management, leading teams, and CDM procedures.
