Job Duties :
The Teaching Assistant will support the classroom teacher in delivering lessons, providing one-on-one support to students, and assisting with classroom management. They will also help with the preparation of teaching materials and ensure a safe learning environment for all students.
Required Qualifications :
The ideal candidate must hold a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification, Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification, as well as certifications in Health and Safety, Mental Health, and Safeguarding.
Education :
A minimum of Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification is required.
Experience :
Prior experience working as a Teaching Assistant in an educational setting is preferred.
Knowledge and Skills :
The candidate should possess strong communication skills, the ability to work well in a team, be punctual, have a strong work ethic, and be approachable to both students and staff.
Preferred Qualifications :
Additional certifications in education or related fields would be advantageous.
Working Conditions :
The Teaching Assistant will work in a school setting, following the school term calendar, and adhering to school policies and procedures.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
