Introduction
Here at Lewisham Council, we are looking to appoint new dynamic Front of House receptionists. Are you committed to delivering excellent Customer Service that meets the
needs of Lewisham’s residents and customers? Do you have experience of dealing and resolving customer enquiries which can at times be difficult and challenging? Do you have the aptitude to manage rooms reservations and calculate prices for the preparation of invoices?
What’s the role
This busy dynamic role requires you to have excellent customer service skills; to be flexible and adapt to changing priorities, as well as working effectively under pressure - no two days will be the same.
You will act as the first point of contact for all visitors to Laurence House, Civic Suite and Old Town Hall (Catford complex). You will provide advice, offer support to enquiries and problems also triage as required.
This exciting role is ideal for friendly proactive individuals, with a professional manner and a ‘can do’ attitude with a flare of confidence.

Working as part of our Front of House team, you will be expected to demonstrate excellent attention to detail, along with organisational and interpersonal skills. You will need to be a confident and engaging communicator, ensuring an inspirational service is delivered -providing an excellent customer journey.
Location
You will be working at the Catford Complex - Laurence House, Civic Suite and the Old Town Hall.
