Learning Support Assistants

Are you an experienced Learning Support Assistant looking to work in a Special Educational Needs primary school on a one-to-one basis with a student who has Autism? Or maybe you a graduate with a passion for SEN and are looking for a school to gain experience and develop your knowledge at!

Tradewind is working with a leading Autism school in High Wycombe, who are looking to appoint an SEN TA to start immediately for the whole academic year!

  • Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant - Mainstream school located in High Wycombe
  • Working with Autism - High ability pupils who needs some support
  • Open to all experience levels - must have a passion for SEN
  • 100 per day - Post will be for the rest of the academic year - Starting now!
  • 2 roles available working in Year 5 and Year 6

Located in the vibrant town of High Wycombe, this highly inclusive Primary School is looking to appoint a SEN Teaching Assistant to support a student with Autism. This school is a friendly place to learn and teach with excellent behaviour throughout. All students are well supported but excellent provision for those with Special Education Needs has meant that this school is a popular choice for parents with SEN children.

The school is looking for a colleague to work with them on an ongoing, temporary basis for the rest of the academic year. This post is paid from £100 per day based on experience.

The Teaching Assistant must :

  • Ideally hold a degree (in any subject) or other relevant qualifications e.g. childcare
  • Have recent experience working as a TA / LSA
  • Have energy, commitment and creativity
  • Be able to engage well with colleagues, children and their parents
  • Have a positive attitude
