Control & Software Engineer – PLC, HMI & Robotics

Location : Birmingham

Salary : Up to £45,000

Job Type : Full-time, Permanent

Are you a Control Engineer, Automation Engineer, or Software Engineer with expertise in PLC programming, HMI development, and robotics integration? We’re looking for a skilled professional to join our team, working on cutting-edge industrial automation and robotic projects.

Key Responsibilities :

Design, develop, and program PLC & HMI systems using :
Siemens TIA Portal
Omron CXone & SYSMAC
Allen Bradley Studio 5000
Weintek HMI software
Integrate and troubleshoot robotic systems (ABB & Fanuc).
Work with servo drive technology for precision motion control.
Implement industrial automation solutions from concept to commissioning.
Ideally, work with SQL databases for data handling and reporting.

What We’re Looking For :

Experience as a Control Engineer, Automation Engineer, or PLC Engineer.

Strong background in PLC programming, HMI development, and motion control.

Hands-on experience with robotic automation and servo drive systems.

Knowledge of SQL is a bonus but not essential.
