The new Headteacher at Roehampton Gate School is looking to recruit an additional outstanding English Teacher to join their Teaching team!
Roehampton Gate School is a purpose-built day school for young people with autistic spectrum disorders. It is situated on Priory Lane. The spacious and modern building has been specifically designed to accommodate up to 70 young people with autistic spectrum disorders. The classrooms are set up for specialist subjects including information technology, art, food technology, science and music, together with exclusive sensory and therapy rooms / suites.
The English department plays a key role in the School’s achievement and development and the department is a driven and cohesive team who demand the best from each other and from their students.
The right candidate would benefit from entering a supportive environment with a wide range of skills, innovation and experience. There is no requirement to be experienced in SEN / ASD and we would welcome NQTs / Early Career Teachers, or more experienced teachers to apply. The department has a strong track record for developing staff, their teaching and achieving outstanding outcomes in a supportive environment. There is the potential to teach across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5 - teaching functional skills, GCSE and A level (including literature and language).
