Overview To be considered for this role you must be willing to travel to our central London office 10 days per month. For our central London office, we are currently looking for a Assistant Accountant. The person will report directly to the Finance Manager. The core duties of the role will include (but not limited to) : purchase ledger inputting. sales ledger inputting reconciliations documents / spreadsheets update and maintenance. Inter-Company transaction and reconciliation. Foreign currency transactions Responsibilities Maintain relationships with all vendors. Handle vendor queries and provide timely and accurate response to all A / P inquiries (vendor or internal) Process invoices and follow up with clients, suppliers and partners as needed. Record accounts payable and accounts receivable. Check invoice approvals and prepare batches for input into our systems. Process employee expense reports. Perform vendor / client account reconciliations. Assist in month-end and year-end close processes. Provide administrative support. Inter-Company transaction and reconciliation Credit card reconciliations in foreign currency. Provide support during annual audits. Provide cover and support during team members holidays and or sickness Qualifications Previous work experience as a Finance Specialist, Finance Assistant or similar role Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) Knowledge of a second language (Italian preferable), a plus Knowledge of SAP accounts package Knowledge of accounts payable processes Intermediate MS Excel skills (creating spreadsheets and using financial functions) Organizational and time-management skills, along with a problem-solving attitude Attention to detail, with an ability to spot numerical errors.
