About the role
Hours : 37.5 per week – Term Time Only
We are searching for a School Administration Manager to join an exciting Trust working to support and develop an already thriving team.
You will make a difference from the get-go, providing administrative support to the Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team as appropriate. You’ll also further develop the existing (IT-based) management information (SchoolPod / Behaviour Watch) and school assessment (SOLAR 4 Schools) systems.
Your Key Responsibilities Include :
The administration of school business.
Business and financial management of school resources.
Managing the school support functions through planning, developing, designing and monitoring support systems and procedures.
Familiarity with and upholding the policies and procedures of the School and the Trust, especially those relating to Health and Safety, Equalities, GDPR and Safeguarding
Liaising with other staff, pupils, parents / carers and external agencies.
Develop and maintain recording and information systems.
Promoting and safeguarding the welfare of the children / young people and vulnerable adults you are responsible for, or come into contact with.
Your Skills and Experience :
Recognised relevant professional qualifications.
Willingness to undertake further training.
Substantial experience in managing budgets and financial reporting.
Previous experience working in an office environment (i.e. Finance / HR).
Competent in FMS and SIMS (or other similar management systems).
Excellent IT skills and the ability to develop IT-based MIS.
Ability to adhere to relevant school policies / codes of practice / legislation.
Knowledge of GDPR and Health and Safety.
