Veterinary Surgeon Vacancy - WAKEFIELD (to £65K)

We have an exciting opportunity for a Vet Surgeon to join the team at a small animal practice in Wakefield area of West Yorkshire

• excellent full time opportunity includes a weekend rota but no OOH.
• practice is purpose built with state of the art equipment and technologies
• loyal client base with good potential for further growth
• role would suit a Vet Surgeon with some experience who has ambition to develop further.
• ideally you will be confident with routine surgery and consults and to work some sole charge.
• great opportunity to develop any specific interests and study for post graduate qualifications or Certificates are supported.
• join an experienced team with a full time Lead Vet, 4 RVNs, 1 VCA and 1 SVN.
• well located in city of Wakefield area with good transport links providing easy commuting, close to M1 and A1 for access to Leeds, Manchester and Sheffield.
• relocation packages available including visa sponsorship

Person Requirements

• Degree in Veterinary Medicine or equivalent
• Registered with the RCVS
• confident with routine surgery and consults
• comfortable to work some sole charge
