Management Accountant - Bamber Bridge

We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established and growing business based in Bamber Bridge, for a Management Accountant to join their finance team on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for a detail-oriented and proactive finance professional looking to take the next step in their career.The RoleAs a Management Accountant, you will play a key role in the finance function, ensuring accurate reconciliations, maintaining financial controls, and supporting month-end and year-end processes. Your responsibilities will include : Monthly balance sheet reconciliationsContactless payment solution reconciliations and managementOverseeing the revenue system importing to SAPReconciliation and control of specific income streamsFixed asset system managementSystem master data management, liaising with the parent company (system owner)Bank payment review and processingPreparing wages journals and uploading to SAPMonth-end tasks and reporting to GroupSupporting the year-end auditOther ad hoc duties as requiredThe PersonWe are looking for a motivated individual with : Experience in a similar accounting roleStrong reconciliation skills and attention to detailKnowledge of SAP or similar financial systems (preferred but not essential)A proactive approach and willingness to take ownership of tasksStrong communication skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholdersThe BenefitsCompetitive salary (£35,000 - £40,000)Opportunity to develop within a supportive finance teamExposure to a variety of accounting processes in a fast-paced environmentThis role is full-time, office-based (5 days per week) in Bamber Bridge.If you are an ambitious finance professional looking to progress your career, we would love to hear from you!
