Conveyancing Fee Earner (Solicitor)

Location : Wanstead, London

Salary : Competitive (based on experience)

About the Role :

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Conveyancing Fee Earner (Solicitor) to join a well-established legal practice based in Wanstead, London . The successful candidate will manage a varied caseload of residential and commercial conveyancing transactions from inception to completion, ensuring a high standard of client service and compliance with industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Handle residential and commercial property transactions , including sales, purchases, lease extensions, remortgages, and transfers of equity
  • Manage a full caseload independently , ensuring all deadlines and compliance requirements are met
  • Conduct title checks, draft contracts, review leasehold documents, and liaise with mortgage lenders
  • Provide expert legal advice to clients, estate agents, and other stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with AML regulations, SRA guidelines, and conveyancing protocols
  • Work closely with support staff, paralegals, and other team members to deliver efficient client service
  • Maintain and develop strong client relationships to enhance the firm's reputation

Requirements :

  • Qualified Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, or Legal Executive with 3+ years of PQE in conveyancing
  • Proven experience managing a varied residential and commercial property caseload
  • Strong knowledge of Land Registry procedures, SDLT rules, and leasehold transactions
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and client care skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
  • Experience using case management systems and legal research tools
